For typical Paje construction — two-storey villas, lodge rooms and guest blocks — 6 inch blocks carry most of the external and main internal walling. 4 inch blocks are used for internal partitions and bathroom walls, and 8 inch where the engineer specifies heavier perimeter or retaining sections.
Order by size and quantity. If you only have the drawings, send the wall areas in m² and we will help convert them into a block count per size.
Blocks are produced to order using automated hydraulic moulding from batched mix, then cured under controlled conditions before they are released. Curing cannot be shortened without affecting the block, so the most useful thing a Paje site can do is give us the date blocks are needed on the wall, early.
With many Paje projects racing the low season, booking production ahead of the walling stage avoids a gap between slab and blockwork.
Blocks need a flat, firm stacking area close to the work, off loose beach sand and clear of the access. Where the last stretch to a beach-side plot is soft sand, we agree a drop point the truck can reach safely and blocks are moved the final distance on site.
Stack blocks on level ground, keep them clear of standing water, and wet-cure the laid wall as normal. Coastal salt air makes clean storage worth the effort.
Block prices are confirmed by written quotation, based on size, quantity, phasing and delivery to Paje. Larger walling packages are usually split into phased deliveries matched to each floor or building, so the plot is never overcrowded.
